Shanghai, China 200 hour Ashtanga Based YogaTeacher Training at Y+ Yoga Center
LEVEL I 100 course LEVEL I
October 7th to18th, 2013 (Monday to Sunday except Saturday), From 6:00 to 17:30. 11 days in total, 9 hours each day and 1 hour for homework. Level I will focus on Primary Series and the basics of teaching skills, anatomy and yoga philosophy.
LEVEL II 100 Hour course LEVEL II
April 5th to16th, 2014 (Monday to Sunday), From 6:00 to 17:30 (April 12th rest) 11 days in total, 9 hours each day and 1 hour for homework. Level II will focus on polishing Primary Series; focus on Back bend, applied anatomy, introduction to Second Series, more teaching skills, adjusting and practice teaching.
Open to All students who have an established Ashtanga Primary Series practice.
This Ashtanga based yoga teacher training is developed for those who are aspiring to teach, are already teaching, or simply wishing to deepen their personal practice. From this training you can learn the following:

- The first 200hr ashtanga based teacher training of its kind in China given by authorized level II teacher.

- Students will be given teacher training certificate upon successful completion of the program and register with Yoga Alliance as certified teacher.
Teacher’s Introduction :
Lead teacher : Clayton Horton
Clayton received Formal Authorization to teach Ashtanga Yoga from the Krishna Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute of Mysore, South India in 2003. In 2010 , Clayton received Authorization Level 2 from the KPJAYI. He continues his study at the K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute under the direction of Sharath Jois. The founder of Greenpath Yoga Studio which is one of America’s first Green and Environmentally Friendly yoga studios. He travels regularly in Asia, Europe and America to teach workshops, trainings and retreats.
Yoga therapy teacher: Ronan Tang
Ronan is one of the China’s leading teacher trainers. Ronan is highly skilled at leading therapeutic classes, a fusion of physical, emotional spiritual aspects of the body, interlaced with a wealth of teachings around asana, pranayama, meditation, Chinese traditional medicine, meridian massage, acupuncture, Taichi, Taoism Qi Kung. ancient and contemporary philosophy; in other words, a rich and balanced yoga experience. Ronan’s insightful teachings aim to help you cultivate balance and harmony in your life, on and off the yoga mat.
Yoga Anatomy teacher: Tiger Wu
Tiger is a senior fitness instructor with widely connection with fitness clubs, sport club, fitness associates, hospitals and related government units, he has over 16 years fitness industry experience with deep insight and “know how” and rich experience in organize fitness and rehabilitation seminars and trainings. He also have deep research and practice on multi-function fitness courses integration, focus on integrated courses of Pilates, yoga and Taiji.
Assistant teacher: Coco Wang
Coco Wong was first realized to yoga at her age of six. It is so impressed to her although she did not commit to it fully until over twenty. Coco attended numerous workshops and teacher training with world renowned yoga teachers, including Sharath Rangaway, David Swenson, Clayton Houton, R.Alexander Medin,Shiva Rea, David Life and Shannon Gannon, Victor Chng, Sara Avant Stover. She later started practicing the Ashtanga Vinyasa System in 2006.
She kept practicing Ashtanga, Yin Yoga and Meditation with self discipline. She has taught in Yogasia and Lingnan University, instructng over 1000 hrs of private yoga classes. And subsequently attending various workshops to explore the relationship between yoga and emotions.

CERTIFICATION: Certificates are awarded to participants who complete all of the course requirements.
Greenpath trainings are Ashtanga Vinyasa based trainings. Upon completion of the program, your certification will allow you to register with the Yoga Alliance as an RYT, Registered Yoga Teacher.
Our Teacher Trainings are designed as Continuing Education for dedicated students and aspiring teachers. To become a yoga teacher with seasoned wisdom, experiential knowledge, authenticity and integrity, you will need to practice for many years and spend many hours of focused study in intensives, workshops and courses such as ours.
Only the Sri K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore India can formally and officially Authorize and Certify Ashtanga teachers in the tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION: We ask that you have been practicing yoga for at least one year. And that you are familiar with and physically prepared to daily practice the Ashtanga Primary Series.
